woo~ yesterday was really a very fun day! centrestage is so exciting.. its quite a tough competition and some of them sing exceptionally well. never judge a book by its cover. and i really like the finalists' performances! haha. anyway, dajie sang a bit off key, the note is too high for her. and next week, we'll be supporting gerald cos shu zhen says he sings quite well. can like that one ar? lol. yanting came for svc but left early for hers. her church is really different from ours. zoey and i went last sunday cos its her church anniversary. there's only 20+ youth and only 1 service. they were leading 'one way' and bcos there's mostly adults, it feels so weird to jump. so we didnt. haha. west A seed meet was so meaningful. sz taught us some tips to invite friends down for service. i shall be kind and share them with you! 1. start calling contacts on monday. give them time to consider while you meet them for sow and bless them. 2. be sincere. don't force. build trust in the friendship. 3. build common ground. example. if they like shopping, say you'll go with her to heeren, ps etc.. (pls keep ur promise) 4. tell them its church organisation activity. ask if they mind. dun bluff them! it'll make them feel cheated. 5. don't keep saying that it will be fun, fun, very very fun. know that they come only bcos they give you face. i think that's all. hope it benefits you.
